Home Eligibility Requirements
Prove ownership by providing a property tax bill number (This number can be found on municipal property tax documents.)
Prove the property is your primary residence with a valid piece of government-issued ID with the matching address, such as a driver’s license.
You are applying for one of the following home types:
Single and semi-detached houses
Row housing
Townhomes
Mobile homes on a permanent foundation
Permanently-moored floating homes
Mixed use buildings (residential portion only)
Low- rise multi-unit residential buildings (three storeys or less with a footprint of 600m2 or less)
New homes are not eligible for the grant.
Multi-unit residential buildings over three storeys or with a footprint of over 600 m2 are not eligible homes under the initiative.
