Built by Memar Homes Inc., these two homes are located on Peachtree Hill in the Russell Lake subdivision of Dartmouth, NS. They are on schedule to be the first LEED-certified homes in HRM. These homes are energy-efficient, healthy and durable. The are also R2000-certified, TechReady, Solar Ready and participants in the Atlantic Home Warranty program. The homes feature a very energy-efficient air-source heat pump with a natural gas backup system and expect to reach an EnerGuide rating of 84. The houses also include other green features such as landscaping that minimizes the need for irrigation, solar tubes to allow daylight into the interior of the house, and extensive details to minimize air leakage.

Memar Homes has committed to certifying all their future houses under the LEED Canada for Homes Rating System. The will be building nine more houses on Peachtree Hill in Dartmouth.
