This is a truly unique project. Having outgrown their small bungalow, the family that owns this home has decided to expand their space by building around their old house. This project is eligible for LEED for Homes certification because it is considered a complete gut-rehab project. After raising the old structure, the builder built additions around the entire perimeter of it, continuing the roofline down. The new house will also include a three storey tower to the rear and a greenhouse at the front. The house is located in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia.
